So, where do you focus when your day brings a seemingly insurmountable challenge? What about when the sky is cloudy, the way is obscured, and the dogs are nipping at your heels?

The same place you focused when the sky was clear and the dogs were puppies.

Servant Leader, not every day will be a "good day." Some days are "champagne and caviar" while others bring difficulties that test our faith. Matthew 14 offers a pretty good clue on where to look when we don't know which way to go.

So, He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw [e]that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”
And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. (Matt 14:29-32, NKJV)

So, Servant Leader, the next time you're facing an insurmountable challenge at work, at home, or anywhere, remember the God who opened the door to bring you here will clear the way through (or around, or over). You simply have to keep your focus on the One that matters and faithfully employ the skills He's given you. You may have to wait, work, or walk, but at least you won't be alone.

Ask me about it when you meet me on the other side.
